For those who want more than a few hours afloat: travel north along Romania’s coast from Mangalia, with stops and nights aboard planned together.
Discuss a coastal charter taking in landmarks such as Constanța and the Mamaia–Năvodari area, with the option of continuing towards Gura Portiței or Sulina on a suitable programme. These are itinerary ideas, not guaranteed stops. Duration, accessible ports, berthing, fuel and return arrangements are confirmed after route and weather assessment. Exploring the coast needs time rather than a rushed distance target. Discuss realistic stages and nights instead of expecting the whole coast in one day. Tell us your balance of sailing and port time and whether you need to return to Mangalia. Delta waterways are arranged separately from the sea charter.
Mangalia to the Delta is not a short outing. Start with the days you have and what you want to see. Discuss a round trip or finishing in another port if logistics allow. Stages and pace are planned with the skipper rather than a rigid timetable.
Sea passages and Delta waterways are different experiences. We do not promise that a yacht or catamaran can enter every channel. If you want to explore inland, ask separately about transfers and a suitable partner-operated boat, subject to access and permit confirmation.
Combine coastal days with a separate Nufărul experience. We do not assume the same yacht can use every waterway; travel between bases, accommodation and programmes are planned separately.
Our cabin boat is based in Nufărul. Hire starts at 700 RON/day, excluding fuel and skipper; an inland-waterway licence is required to operate it.
